Here in the UK we're proud to be part of an amazing good beer that gives back - the Great Get Together Pale Ale, a collective UK brewing industry effort for the Jo Cox Foundation.

In keeping with the ideals of The Great Get Together,  Great Get Together Pale Ale is a collective effort.

Some of the oldest, largest, smallest and newest brewers from across the UK: Adnams, Arkells, Cliff Quay, Elgoods, Fullers, Harviestoun, Joseph Holts, Joules, J W Lees, Marstons, Palmers, St Austell, Theakstons, Thornbridge and Woodfordes, and The Good Beer Co. have teamed up to create a beer to help people across the UK enjoy your Great Get Togethers with family, friends, colleagues, neighbours and local community.

Adnams Brewery have taken the lead on brewing the bottles of beer on sale at participating venues during June and July (while stocks last) and distributed free to a number of Great Get Together events during the Great Get Together Weekend in June. All of the collaborating brewers have worked together to develop the recipe for the Great Get Together Pale Ale and they will brew and sell the beer in casks in bottles at their own breweries and pubs.

The brewers have also been supported in this brew by Simpsons malt who are donating the malt for the beer, Charles Faram, who are donating the hops, OI, who are donating the glass for the bottles and Colourscan, who are donating the pump clips for the cask beer.

The profits from the Great Get Together Pale Ale will go to the Jo Cox Foundation. Funds raised will support their work to bring together communities across the UK in the spirit of Jo’s words: “we have far more in common than that which divides us.”
